We often fail to recognize the significance of healthy eyesight, taking it for granted until it’s too late. The most natural loss of eyesight comes, of course, with age. As we get older, our eyesight begins to diminish. Cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, and retinal detachment can contribute to vision deterioration. Sometimes eyesight can be corrected with simple lenses or other medical interventions. Unfortunately, sometimes medical or surgical interventions won’t work and optical devices are needed.
